Follow Peace – Hebrews 12:14

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” ~ Hebrews‬ ‭12:14‬

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.” ~ Psalms‬ ‭34:14‬

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.” ~ Romans‬ ‭14:19

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” ~ Isaiah‬ ‭9:6‬

What God is speaking to me – Work to be at peace with all people. Even if they are not at peace with you, be at peace with them and you will be blessed for your obedience. Do not let hurts and differences linger in your heart. Be quick to forgive. Be quick to repent. Be quick to hear a person out—and really listen. Be quick to reconcile with those who are willing to walk in peace. Sometimes and some people will be easy to walk with peacefully. Others will be a challenge. I am to walk peacefully with all. Peaceful doesn’t mean “easy.” Jesus never promised easy; He only promised help. Jesus is the Prince of Peace!

My prayer – Father God, if I have any unforgiveness in my heart, please reveal it to me so that I can obey Your command to forgive. If there are hurts and wounds in my heart, please help me face them so I can receive healing. Teach me to pursue peace with every one. Teach me to love. I ask for the grace to love, really love every one…not just those of my choosing. Show me ways to comfort those that are hurting today. Help me to be quick to show Your love, Your comfort, and Your peace for Your glory, and Yours alone….in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
