My Heart is Fixed
O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. – Psalm 108:1-3

It Hath Pleased the Lord to Make You His People
And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart; and turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain. For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people. Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider how great things he hath done for you. But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king. – 1 Samuel 12:20-25

Do His Will and You Will Know His Doctrine
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. – John 7:16-18

Wholesome vs. Perverse
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. – Proverbs 15:4

Wholesome – promoting health or well-being of the mind or spirit; based on well-grounded fear; safe; healthy and sound; beneficial

Perverse – turned away from or rejecting what is right; wicked or corrupt

Breach – a break or a rupture; an infraction or violation; a gap made in a wal or a line of soldiers; a severance of relations.
