Job 16:1–19:29; 1 Corinthians 16:1-24; Psalm 40:1-10; Proverbs 22:1

Oh That My Words Were Now Written!
Oh that my words were now written! Oh that they were printed in a book! That they were graven with an iron pen and lead In the rock for ever! For I know that my redeemer liveth, And that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, Yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, And mine eyes shall behold, and not another; Though my reins be consumed within me. – Job 19:23-27

Watch, Stand, Be Strong, Do All Things with Charity
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity. – 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Addicted to the Ministry of the Saints
I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) that ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth. I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied. For they have refreshed my spirit and your’s: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such. – 1 Corinthians 16:15-18

I Waited Patiently for the LORD
I waited patiently for the LORD; And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in the LORD. – Psalm 40:1-3

A Good Name
A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, And loving favour rather than silver and gold. – Proverbs 22:1
