This Then is the Message

Daniel 7:1-28; 1 John 1:1-10; Psalm 119:153-176; Proverbs 28:23-24

That Your Joy May Be Full
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (for the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full
. – 1 John 1:1-4

This Then is the Message
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
– 1 John 1:5

If We Say We Have Fellowship with Him and Walk in Darkness, We Lie
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
– 1 John 1:6-10

One Like the Son of Man Came
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. –
Daniel 7:13-14

Grieved, Yet I Have Great Peace
I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; Because they kept not thy word.
– Psalm 119:158

Great peace have they which love thy law: And nothing shall offend them. – Psalm 119:165

Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: Give me understanding according to thy word. Let my supplication come before thee: Deliver me according to thy word. My lips shall utter praise, When thou hast taught me thy statutes. My tongue shall speak of thy word: For all thy commandments are righteousness. – Psalm 119:169-172

He that Rebuketh Afterwards Shall Find More Favour
He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour Than he that flattereth with the tongue.
